Museum Mile, on Fifth Avenue fronting Central Park, is home to some of the most famous museums in the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Guggenheim.

On Madison Avenue, the pages of Vogue come to life in the designer and couture boutiques that line the street. This is window shopping at its best. But the UES is also home to shops for the rest of us, from Bloomingdale’s to Dylan’s Candy Bar.
